"Paving the way for Long Island"
Blacktop Overlay, Repave, Resurface
Some driveways are candidates for repaving

1
Cut Pavement Back at Seams
This includes removing one to two feet of pavement at all seams. We do this in order to match back smoothly to the existing joints and create a butt joint for a perfect fit.
2
Adjust Low and High Areas
Raise low areas and lower high areas. Fill cracks over 1/8th inch wide by cleaning and filling with hot rubberized crack material.
3
Install New Borders
We install Belgium Blocks, Pavers, or Wood Borders if necessary for tailored edges.
4
Asphalt Installation
A new wearing course is installed with hot Asphalt, to comply with New York State Mix to specifications and placed at an average temperature of 300°F. This new surface is installed by a mechanical self powered paver machine.
5
Asphalt Compaction
The new asphalt pavement is then compacted by a vibratory power roller.
6
Join Old and New Pavement
Apply hot liquid Asphalt Concrete (A.C.) “Tar” along seam to join old and new pavement.
